Fierce Horn Farm is home to a vast array of critters located in Brooklyn Ct. We specialize in Heritage and Exotic breeds of livestock, Jacob Sheep being our main attraction. They are an amazing sight to behold, as they attract alot of attention with their elegant horns having anywhere from 2-6 of them. After a trip to New Jersey to learn more about this fascinating breed this past september at the Jacob Sheep Breeders Association (JSBA) annual meeting, I soon found myself traveling all over the northeast acquiring animals from established flocks to make my own herd of Jacobs. My bloodlines are all very different and widespread throughout the country including sheep from Hidden Forge Farm; MA, Kreutzer Farms; NE, Puddleduck Farm; OR, Ivy Brook Meadow; PA, and Pinebrooke Farm; VT. Although this is my first year breeding Jacobs, I look forward to a successful lambing season this spring with excellent quality registered breeding stock to offer for sale. Please contact us for availability.

Here is the current flock grazing just one small portion of the large pasture here at Fiercehorn Farm. I've cut back to just a dozen spotted Jacobs. It was hard to cull down to this but its much easier on my feed bill! Oliver is very good with all the ewes and i am keeping him with them year round now. I'm very happy with the flock that I have been putting together over the past year. I have some bloodlines from clear across the country, with more on the way in September. Keeping animals is not for everybody, it requires alot of money and time to care for them. You also must have proper shelter for them to get out of the elements and plenty of green grass for them to eat. Nothing's cheap anymore and feed and hay has gone up, but animal prices have not. It's a good feeling when you have a successful operation.
